trash tv is good

After weeks of rummaging through every book shop in Shropshire, I have finally succumb to the last resort of ordering The Bell Jar off Amazon. I try to avoid online-buying, as I find it a little scary (and I hate asking to borrow mum's debit card), but there was no getting out of this one. And I really need to read that book.

I had to get up at 10.30 this morning! I know - how bloody rude! I was dragged down St George's to have my barnet chopped and then helped mom on a cleaning job. But it wasn't too bad really.

I watched (and enjoyed) Hollyoaks today. Does that make me a bad person? A shallow human being? Is it against everything I preach about to watch a tacky 'youth-soap', with actors who would probably be more suited to those bloody annoying insurance adverts?

But damn it - the bloody show is genius. It sucks you in with it's paper thin storylines, plots which take about 5 months to develop and characters that all look the same (bar the fat ginger girl and evil seductive brunette). But god help me if I can resist the gorgeously perfect relationship of Nick and Nathan. They are so cute together that I want to scratch my eyes out. But from sheer delight, you understand... ;-)

Anyway, I'll need something to watch when The Salon ends... THIS WEEK!!

Oh dear god, I am having withdrawal symptoms just thinking about it...
